We retired "Marble" to a wonderful home. He is now very loved and has his very own forever family. This is from his new mum:-

I Thought I would write a little bit about my experience in buying Buster (aka Marble), a recently retired miniature parti stud boy, from Charlotte.

I saw Marble on this website and thought he was a beautiful boy but I was after a puppy. I rang Charlotte and enquired about purchasing a puppy and found that there was quite a waiting list! Charlotte mentioned that she was retiring Marble and I immediately knew who she was talking about because he just stood out to me on the website. Charlotte explained that he was a beautiful boy but needed some gentle discipline and best of all, he was only 15 months old! I did get a bit dizzy at the thought of owning such a gorgeous dog, could it be, could it be possible that he could be mine!! Yes it was, and yes it is! I discussed Marble with my husband and two sons, then I showed them his picture, and the rest, as they say, is history, we were all besotted!! We rang Charlotte the next morning and she sent me the application and when he was ready we drove up and collected him, it was Friday the 27th May.

We arrived and Marble ran straight out the black gates into our arms, it was so lovely! He played with my boys while Charlotte gave us our paperwork, showed us how to comb him etc etc and we then had a lovely trip back to Sydney. He travelled perfectly.

I must say I did have some reservations about buying an older dog, how much socialisation and training did he need, toilet training (he wasn't a house dog) but I was up for the challenge. Well...................a challenge he was NOT! He is the best mannered dog I have ever owned. He has not once had a wee/poop in the house, even during the night, he is always clean. He walks alongside on the lead perfectly, he doesn't walk through the door before me, he waits, such a little gentleman! We can put our hand in his bowl while he is eating, he was also trained not to jump up on people. He is amazing and obviously not just a stud dog, he has been well loved, you can tell, he gives the best hugs, he just comes into you and puts his head on your shoulder and lets you hug him for ages, he is very affectionate and we are all besotted with him. He sleeps right through the night too.

He did bark at the boys on the first and second days if they got a bit too loud, he just needed to get used to "the boys" being boys!! He is completely at ease with them now, they play around together and it's lovely to see. Today they were playing with one of my quilts, all hiding under it together then crawling around the house under it, very funny to watch! Buster races through the house, ears flying back, sliding all over the tiles, he is just delightful! He makes us laugh!

Well that's it for now, all is well and we are so lucky to have "Buster" in our family, he has settled in so well and is even used to his new name!

Any Breeding quality dog on the Tamaruke Breeding program OR sold by Tamaruke as a Breeding Quality dog will be evaluated using the penn Hip Method of evaluation for Hip Dysplasia (HD) – as opposed to BVA Method of evaluation.

To read more on the penn Hip Method of evaluation follow this link:

The Penn Hip evaluation method assesses the ‘Laxity’ of the joint  which has been widely recognised as being the genetic component to Hip Dysplasia developing.

Hip Dysplasia is a genetically inherited condition but can be affected/influenced by environmental factors.
We believe that adopting the penn Hip Method of evaluation will eradicate any risk of  HD developing in our puppies.
